How listings are sourced

Every public name and address on this directory comes from a file you can audit: the 2022 Niagara Employment Inventory (Open Government Licence — Niagara Region), City of Hamilton open data for licensed public garages, and OpenStreetMap (ODbL). Those walks and extracts are why a village page can be short, and why Crystal Beach can be empty.

A phone or website appears only when that source already published it. Missing contact details are a gap in the file. Hamilton’s licensed tree-cutter table has no addresses, so those names are not listings. Smithville has no HVAC name in the allowed sources.

A listing is a name and street — not a licence. For plumbing, check the Skilled Trades Ontario public register. For electrical work, use the ESA contractor locator. For gas and furnace work, that is TSSA. Confirm those yourself before anyone opens a wall or a panel.
